Two suspects were arrested after one allegedly shot at a man with several small children at County Villa Apartments in West Lafayette about 2:15 p.m. on Sunday.
The suspect, 21-year-old Lafayette native Jayshon Figgs, allegedly fled the scene with his brother Jayvion Figgs, 19, after police arrived at the apartment complex, according to a WLPD press release.
Jayshon was arrested on a preliminary charge of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon after reportedly getting pulled over by police in Lafayette.
According to the press release, Lafayette police located Jayvion at a home in Lafayette, where the suspect allegedly attempted to flee before being arrested by officers on a preliminary charge of resisting law enforcement.
As of Friday afternoon, Jayvion is in the Tippecanoe County Jail but his brother Jayshon is not. Jayvion is being held with a bond of $250.
